John Galliano has designed a masterpiece of a couture collection. It may not be "ready-to-wear" but it is most definitely "ready-to-wear" on the red carpet. His designs are lavish, innovative (within the bounds of couture), original, wearable and very fresh. I especially love the dress Ginta Lapina wears with the white "pencil scratches" one would see in a fashion illustration. They highlight the dress beautifully and give a classic look a modern edge. The very cinched waist of Maria Kashleva's dress is also different; one of the most extreme illusory appearances of a narrow waist I have ever seen. I cannot praise Galliano's work highly enough. Well done indeed.
