Balmain boot
Olivier Rousteing took over the helm at Balmain this season and he managed to continue the aesthetic and style we have seen at the fashion label for quite a few seasons. Rhinestones, light-coloured denim, leather pants, body-con ensembles, sequins and other kinds of embroidery. The difference is that this season was a little "classier" than others. Dressy, rocker and elegant instead of trashy chic. I much prefer the new direction Rousteing has steered Balmain towards as the last season got a little too close to tacky. Nice work, now let us wait in anticipation for his next offering and see if he changes things up a little.
