Jason Wu combines glamour, a masculine femininity with sex appeal and a hint of bondage in his beautifully original collection for Spring. When a friend introduced me to Jason Wu dolls I finally understood his approach to fashion design. Each piece or dress embodies a style or personality that Wu imagines and creates so fully in his mind that the result is always a confident and resounding 'look'. What is so distinct about Wu is his understanding of female beauty and how best to accentuate the body in a classy way without losing the distinctly wonderful aspects of a woman - her curves - in whatever form that might take. I never thought I'd say this, but Jason Wu has made his take on bondage fashionable and very wearable.
